Epson's new UltraChrome DG Ink has been designed for Direct To Garment printing on cotton and cotton blend textiles. The White ink has been designed to enhance the colour range and presentation value on light fabric while also providing a base for colour printing on dark fabric. Before printing garments with White ink they must be evenly and well coated with pre-treatment liquid (customers should follow their user guide for instructions). Once printed the garment must again be placed in a heat press to fix the ink.
Epson Pre-Treatment liquid is supplied in a 20L box. It is shipped in concentrate format that should be diluted with distilled water at 1:2 or 1:3 ratio before application.
IMPORTANT: Never mix pre-treatment liquid with ink waste even when disposing. After treating garments with this liquid they must be fully dried (naturally or in a heat press), piling & lint removed (a standard lint removal tool & pair of tweezers can been used), and then flattened before printing. If this process is not followed it may result in damage to the printer, invalidation of warranty &/or the terms of a Service pack.
